Project Overview
Coca-Cola North America was looking for a way to showcase its smartwater® flavors in an engaging and interesting way that would get noticed at retail. They selected my design, featuring box structures with different flavors and a unique LED backlighting system that illuminated the bottles on the side of the display.
Challenge
Coca-Cola needed to:
- Execute quickly
- Gain a large visual presence in the front of G-Stores
- Highlight a range of flavors in a unique way
- Include both cases and single bottles
- Appeal to style-conscious consumers
- Win over newcomers to the smartwater® brand
Solution
Created a modular display bridge that:
- Expands to various widths
- Allows additional flavors for wider versions
- Integrates subtle cascade of flashing recessed and animated lighting
- Lighting sequence pans up and down the side upright behind the bottles
The walk-up sensors on the light kit activate when the shopper approaches the display. This helps to make a connection in a subtle way and draw their eyes to the single bottles on the side towers if they are a new customer looking to try the product. For existing loyal customers, cases are provided for convenience in the center of the bridge / span.
